As part of Morgan celebrating Women's History Month and being part of the movement to end violence towards women, office of Student Activities presented the Vagina Monologues. It's the third year the production has ever been put on at Morgan, but my first time attending.
My take on it? I'm glad you asked! With a cast of students and faculty, it was informative, eye opening and humorous all at the same time. Definitely might catch me at the auditions next year. And this year the proceeds went to TurnAround Inc., a non-profit that helps victims of sexual and domestic violence. For more info on the organization visit http://www.turnaroundinc.org/.
