Trekkie Mode

I am so not into the galatic battles of any troupes in outer space, but I must say that the Star Trek trailers have been enticing. Directed by J.J. Abrams with a May 8th release, the movie is supposed to give insight to the very beginning of the USS Enterprise crew. Also, you get a glimpse of the early life of Captain James Tiberius Kirk played by Chris Pine. Zachary Quinto from Heroes [loveeee that show], plays Spock and one of my favorite girls, Zoe Saldana plays the alluring Nyota Uhura. The remake hits theatres May 8, 2009, check it out!

Miss.Emme Makes the News

Okay, maybe I didn't make the news. However, my good friend Miss Sophomore Tiffany Mercer-Robbins [or Lady Essence as the blogging world knows her] asked if she could interview me as her newsworthy person for her class. Never thought of myself as newsworthy, but I thought why not. Read the entry and listen to the interview at her blog Lady Essence's Scoop «╝ that's a link lovelies.

Like, Where've You Been?

Everyone's been asking, where's miss.εmmε™, where's miss.εmmε™? And what is up with no updates? Well, I'm right here lovelies! And the updates will follow.

Morgan State University has been providing my life with more than enough unnecessary drama. I've learned a couple lessons from this week:

1-People will do things sheerly because they have the power to.
2-People love power.
3-People will make things about them, when it has nothing to do with them [such a huge ego!].
4-At the end of it all, when all these terrific people do what they do, you just have to continue to do what you do! [RELOADED]

Now, that that's over let's get to the good stuff!

Special Happy Birthday to one of my favorite munchkins! Happy 5th Birthday, Tivon!

Disney Princesses Attack!!

Okay, everyone already knows Facebook is the devil, right? But I get this random friend request from a "Cinderella Gimmemyglasslipper" and a Snow White character. (There's a Rapunzel, too. Go figure.) Thinking nothing of it I added them as friends. I mean, who doesn't like Cinderella?

Next thing you know I get a group request for "The Morgan Men Grade Book." If curiousity killed the cat, I must have been screaming bloody murder because I definitely joined the group just to see the madness. Good enough, they had an array of some of the Greek men of Morgan's campus with number grades! Can you say specific? Now, some people had really good grades, some fairly nice grades and some weren't even passing, smh. But it's not just the Greeks, there was definitely a disclaimer saying all types of men were going to be up for grading and they've been asking which men you'd like see in the "Book." It's a little mean, but entertaining none-the-less. The tables have clearly turned and the men have been put to the test, literally! I say check it out and boys if you're brave enough...

And the Winner Is...

With Junior Week winding down, the Miss Bold & Beautiful pageant and Outstanding Morgan Women Banquet have come and gone.

The pageant went over really well and people are already asking if there's going to be another. As contestant number 3 (lol), I thought it went about as well as it was going to go. And I love my B&B girls! Miss Ashia Davis took home the crown, congrats. The other young ladies that placed were Makeba Belton and Sherika Anthony, respectively.
Now, the Outstanding Morgan Women Banquet is a huge honor that's not as well known on campus. But it means a lot to be nominated by your peers and seen as outstanding by the men of the Junior class. This year I was honored to be nominated for Outstanding Junior Woman by one of my favorite freshmen, Aqua and Outstanding Morgan Woman of the Year by my awesome roommate Nicole. Anyone who was there notices I wasn't in the latter category, lol. But I digress! I have to commend Aaron Sinclair, my Mr. Junior along with the men of all that classes that came together and give us a beautiful banquet of a Breakfast at Tiffany's theme. Lovely!
[sorry for the lack of flicks... eh]

We Love to See You Smile

Funny little video! I'm a huge Pharrell Williams fan and came across this video on YouTube of him trying his hardest to get this McDonald's in Paris to open early for him. The man just wanted some Mickey D's!! Enjoy!

It's Carnaval

Okay, I first spotted these ridiculously fabulous shoes in the beginning of February on Keyshia Cole. And I must say one cannot go wrong with a red-soled Louboutin pump! Had to give the heavily petaled shoe some shine. The Spring 2009 Christian Louboutin Carnaval looks even better on!

Must show love to Concrete Loop, they're the best!
